Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), the global travel management company, has announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell its subsidiary, Havas Voyages, to the Marietton Group.
The signing of the agreement follows a period of consultation with the French Works Council and completion of the sale is expected by the end of the year, subject to clearance from the French Competition Authority.
Bertrand Mabille, CWT’s executive vice president for France & the Mediterranean zone said: "The travel industry is constantly evolving and the resulting digital transformation requires substantial investment.
